Twin Taxi Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our booking channels.
What we collect
When you book we collect your name, contact number, pickup and drop-off details and journey times. If you message us on WhatsApp, the content of that conversation is processed by us and by WhatsApp under its own policy. The website itself collects only basic, privacy-friendly analytics and no advertising cookies.
How we use it
To quote fares, dispatch drivers, keep you updated about your journey, take payment and handle any complaint. For business accounts we also use it to produce invoices.
Legal basis
Performance of your booking contract, and our legitimate interest in running a safe, efficient service.
Sharing
Only with the driver assigned to your journey and, where relevant, our payment provider. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Booking records are kept for six years for tax and insurance purposes, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of it, or its deletion where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details on the Contact page. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
